- Sacha Greif is originally from Paris, but recently relocated to Kyoto, Japan.
- Sacha is mainly a user interface (UI) designer doing freelancing and originally studied computer science.
- Has been working with several startups, but lately focusing on personal projects such as Folyo.
- Also working on his blog and releasing things like The Toolbox.
- Released an eBook called ‘Step by Step UI Design’ that you should check out if you haven’t already. It’s very good.

- Jared likes Daredevil, Adam likes Captain America, and Drew likes Green Lantern. Sacha says using type with superheroes is the most viral thing to do.

- Some big companies pulling their advertising accounts with Facebook such as GM.
- Pinterest is valued at $1.5 billion and the third largest site.
- Pinterest looks to be more directed to an advertising purpose with higher rewards, but their copyrights currently inhibit that desire.
- Sacha points out that Facebook isn’t currently in China.
- Drew says then Facebook will control the world through a Facebook unlock badge.
- Sacha says that Twitter is more popular than Facebook in Japan.
- Sacha really likes CS6, more specifically the changes in Photoshop. Glad Adobe has listened to feedback with more focus on pixel perfection.
- It would be awesome to have Typekit font built into Photoshop and not just an included subscription.

- Sacha enjoyed the ‘CSS arrow, please!’ project so much that he was inspired to create ‘The Toolbox’ and told the world how he did it too!
- Sacha wanted to see how quick he could go from the state of an idea to actual launch. Took 10 hours. He used a WordPress theme.
- On launch day: 11,000 visitors. 7,000 daily visitors.
- Upcoming network by Jared coming soon, but he is quiet right now.
- Sacha wrote a post called, ‘Please Learn to Code’ in response to ‘Please Don’t Learn to Code’ by Jeff Atwood which is a response to the hype of all these coders saying everyone should learn to code.
- What’s your take on this?
- Stop Using Curved Drop Shadows, but Mikael Eidenberg proved it.
- Drew uses some “realistic” CSS techniques in Dialog.gs
- Design can be realistic or abstract.
- Sacha believes that if you decide one way or the either you need to go ALL IN.
