Alright, so unless your brainwaves are mentally in-tuned with Apple, and you were aware milliseconds after they began selling WWDC 2012 tickets, chances are you’re not attending. Right? Right. So you’re probably going to be doing one (or a combination, thereof), of three things when 10am PT / 1pm ET hits.
- Shut your eyes and open them right before the conference begins. Hoping… you’ll be teleported to the second row right as Tim Cook takes the stage.
- Being a bit more practical, you’ll go to some of the sites that are live-blogging the event and watch in glee (but feel all alone).
- You’ll take to the social networks and simply talk crap until the words “fiscal,” “Mac,” “iPad,” “iPhone,” and “iOS6″ begin to dictate your stream.
We have an alternate solution for you. We’re cool people, and you know this. So why not hang with us? When Tim takes the stage, we’ll be hoping into our Tlk.io chatroom (the same one we use for our live podcast recordings). We’ve been told that the room is actually quite fun to be in! Developers sometimes give promo codes away to their apps, share inside information, cool discussions are started, and people become enemies friends!
So, in a nutshell, come hang with us! Come tell us what you expect to see today, etc. Don’t worry, we’ll be sharing WWDC announcements in the chatroom too. It’s only natural.
